About Us

  • What is SHOP404?
    SHOP404 is a Toronto-based lifestyle and collectible store featuring Asian pop-culture toys, gifts, and artist-designed products. We carry a curated selection of cute collectibles, blind boxes, plushies, anime goods, character merchandise, stationery, jewelry, accessories, and lifestyle gifts, including Asian-exclusive and limited-edition items that are often hard to find locally. We have two physical store locations in the Greater Toronto Area: Pickering Location, 1355 Kingston Rd #162, Pickering, ON L1V 1B8; and Toronto Location, 160 Baldwin St Unit 6, Toronto, ON M5T 3K7. We also offer same-day order pick up during our store hours when available. We ship worldwide through www.workshop404.ca and ship out orders daily.   • Are all products available online also available in-store?
    Product availability may vary by location. Each SHOP404 store may carry different inventory, and some items may be available at one location but not the other. If you are looking for a specific item, we recommend contacting us at workshop404.gta@gmail.com before visiting so our team can help confirm availability.

Store Pick Up

  • Do you offer store pick up?
    Yes. Same-day store pick up may be available during store hours when the item is available. Please wait for your pick-up confirmation email before visiting.

Shipping

  • How long does it take to process and ship my order?
    We usually process and ship orders within 1-3 business days. We ship out orders daily, but processing time may vary depending on order volume and item availability. Business days do not include weekends or holidays. If an item requires extra preparation or availability confirmation, our team will contact you with an update.
  • What are your shipping rates?
    Shipping rates are shown at checkout based on your location, order total, package weight, and selected shipping method. For Canada, standard shipping is a flat rate of $12 for orders under $75. For the U.S., standard shipping is a flat rate of $25. Free standard shipping is available on orders over $75 after discounts and before taxes and shipping. If you need express shipping, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm availability and provide a shipping quote.
  • Will I be charged duties, taxes, or customs fees?
    International customers may be responsible for duties, taxes, customs fees, or brokerage fees charged by their local customs or carrier. These fees are not included unless clearly stated at checkout.
  • Will I receive a tracking number?
    Yes. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
  • What should I do if my package is lost, delayed, or damaged?
    Please contact us at workshop404.gta@gmail.com if your package appears to be lost, delayed, or damaged. We purchase shipping insurance for eligible packages and will help you submit a claim when applicable. Please note that claim results are subject to the insurance provider's final decision. SHOP404 is not responsible for carrier delays. If your item arrives damaged, please email us clear photos of the item, outer packaging, inner packaging, and shipping label within 48 hours of delivery so we can review the issue and assist with the next steps.
  • What should I do if I receive a manufacturer defect in a blind box?
    If you discover a manufacturer defect after opening a blind box, please contact us within 48 hours of opening it and include your order number, clear photos of the item, packaging, and any visible defect. Once reviewed, we may offer store credit, a replacement, an exchange, or another suitable solution depending on product availability and the nature of the issue. Please note that blind box character selection, duplicate pulls, or normal minor paint variations are not considered defects.
  • What happens if a product I purchased goes on sale later?
    The price shown on your order at the time of purchase is final. We do not offer retroactive price adjustments, refunds, or store credit for items that go on sale after an order has been placed.

Order Issues

  • What should I do if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?
    Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at workshop404.gta@gmail.com with your order number and clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label. Our team will review the issue and help with the next steps.
  • Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
    If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at workshop404.gta@gmail.com. Once an order has been marked as fulfilled, we may not be able to make changes or cancel it. For items that require supplier availability confirmation, we will confirm availability before fulfilling the order. If the item is no longer available, our team will contact you with the next steps.
  • What happens if an item in my order is unavailable?
    Your payment will only be charged until we confirm the item availability for your order. If any item becomes unavailable, our team will contact you using the order information provided to discuss the next steps.
  • What happens if only part of my order is ready?
    If your order includes multiple items, we will usually ship the order once all items are ready. If you would like the available items shipped first, please contact us. Additional shipping fees may apply for split shipments.

Loyalty & Rewards

  • Can I redeem in-store loyalty points online?
    In-store loyalty points and rewards can only be redeemed in person at our physical store locations and cannot be redeemed online at this time. Online promotions and in-store loyalty offers may be different.

Returns & Exchanges

  • What is your return policy?
    We accept returns for store credit or exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Items must be new, unused, and have all original tags attached. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Store credit or exchanges are usually processed within 5-7 business days after we receive the returned item. Costumes, shoes, socks, make-up, face masks, blind boxes, art, pop-up shop purchases, live show purchases, and sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. To start a return, please email us at workshop404.gta@gmail.com with your order number and the item you would like to return.
  • Do you offer holiday returns?
    Purchases made in December 2025 have an extended holiday return window and may be returned for store credit or exchanged before January 25, 2026.
  • Which items are final sale?
    Costumes, shoes, socks, make-up, face masks, blind boxes once opened, art, pop-up shop purchases, live show purchases, and sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. All returned plush items must have their original seal stickers and packaging intact. If a product is confirmed to be defective or inauthentic after review, we will assist with an appropriate solution.
  • Are blind boxes final sale?
    Yes. Blind boxes are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Can I return an in-store purchase online?
    In-store purchases can only be returned or exchanged in person through our physical store. If you have any questions, please contact us at workshop404.gta@gmail.com.

Promotions

  • Are promotions always the same online and in-store?
    Promotions may vary between our website and physical store locations. The final promotion will be shown at checkout or at the time of purchase.
